The palace of Caravajal Simoncelli, bishop of Soana (1535 – 1596) features a simple smooth architecture in its main façade as well as in the portal and its sober vaulted hallway supported by massive pillars. Built after 1540, the owner used to live there and was using it for hospitality purposes, as carved on the Spanish tag below the windows.
